Presentation Night
A huge turnout, super entertainment and all the dancers' smiling faces receiving their medals made for a great night out. Thanks to everyone who came along, to all who helped organised the event, and to our marvelous DJ Stephen.
Presentation Evening & Disco
We'll be presenting exam medals and certificates at a social evening on Saturday 11th February 2012, in Calderwood Hall. Doors open 7pm and all pupils involved should be in the hall by 7.15pm.
After the awards are given out there will be a finger buffet and disco, and a preview performance by the Musical Theatre class. Tickets available at dancing classes soon.
Adult Dance Classes
Get fit and have fun in 2012 with new routines and new prices for adult modern and adult tap classes on Thursday evenings.
Modern Stage for Adults - 7.30pm to 8.15pm
Tap Dancing for Adults - 8.15pm to 9pm
*Class fees £4 each or £7 for both.
BATD Examination Results
Congratulations to all the pupils on their excellent exam results. Medals and certificates will be given out at our presentation night in early February.
Fundraiser over £700
Thanks to everyone who supported the fundraising evening in November. It was great fun with wooden horse racing, raffles, games and a fabulous night all round. We raised just over £700 to help with new ballet barres, and we hope to have these in place just after Christmas. Thank you for all the raffle donations, sponsors, horse owners and to all the people who came along.
Enrolment for 2012
New pupils are welcome to enrol in any of our classes for the new term. To book a place please contact Kate or pop in during the class times at Calderwood Community Hall, East Kilbride.
New Timetable from August 2011
Dancing classes start back on Saturday 13th August. For the first week all Saturday classes are on at the old times, and from Saturday 20th August and there are a few time changes. Thursday times from 18th August have also changed. Please see the dancing school timetable for up to date info. Main changes include:
- Ballet 2 moved to Thursday evenings
- Starlite class time changed to 1 hour
- New adult modern class

Festival4Stars Winners
Well done to all of our musical theatre group for winning the Glasgow 2011 heat at Festival4Stars and congratulations to Connor for winning the musical solos. The many hours of practice paid off in the end!
