Musical Theatre & Competitions

Covering a variety of song and dance routines, pop songs and musical numbers, the class is ideal for kids who love performing. Boys and girls from age 5 to 16 can come along and take part, and everyone gets the chance to take part in competitions, shows and one-off events.

Born to Entertain

Our musical group have performed routines from Annie, The Lion King, Sound of Music and many more. Pop music gets an appearance too as all the students are encouraged to bring new ideas to the class.

Everyone is a star, whether as part of a group or doing solos and duets and a lot of energy and excitement comes from working up to the next big performance.

Competitions

In 2006 a small group of young tap dancers took part in the regional heats of Festival4Stars. We have reached the national finals every year that we've entered since then in various categories including entertainment, solos and musical groups. We've competed against stage schools and performing arts academies and through hard work and dedication have consistently achieved fantastic results.

Local Events

The dance school and musical group have taken part in many local events including Britain's Got Talent, Festival4Stars showcases and local charity shows. We've even been on television, when our majorettes took part in children's drama series Butterfingers on STV.

More recently our talented group entertained the residents at Trust Housing in East Kilbride, where they put on a short display of musical songs including Joseph, Showaddywaddy and Favorite Son. The girls showed off their dance routines while Connor delighted the audience with a few solo numbers.
