Dancing Show Couper Institute 2011

Show 2011 Review - Couper Institute, 2nd & 3rd June

The theme for the 2011 show was Top Hat, and featured a big tap dance finale with routines like Happy Feet, I Got Rhythm and Anything Goes.

Highlights of the show include a modern routine to Jai Ho by the seniors and pre-seniors, a tartan tribute from the Tiny Tot class with No Comin' Oot and our junior classes delighting the audience with their Jellicle Cats dance.

The ballet classes joined up to present an emotional performance of Flying from Peter Pan, while the younger Starlites did a gorgeous ballet routine to Truly Scrumptious. Our majorettes and cheerleaders had everyone clapping along to songs including Party in the USA and 500 miles.

Breaking up the dances, the musical singers roused the audience with solo and group numbers including Joseph and Favorite Son.

Thank you once again to all of our helpers and to each and every one of the dancers and singers who took part.
